AELA hosted its first “Law and Governance Clinic” for Earth Friendly Organisations in Brisbane on 4 July 2014. 85 people attended, representing dozens of environmental and social justice organisations who are interested in issues such as legal business structures, the sharing economy, DGR and other taxation issues for not-for-profit organisations, insurance, legal services in SEQ and conflict management.
