Building a New Economy Network for Australia

Around the world, communities and organisations are working together to build a new economy – one that supports people and planet, by supporting ecological and social justice.

Australia has an abundance of amazing organisations working to create fair food systems, fair workplaces, more socially just organisations like cooperatives, Earth centred projects such as nature protection and ecological rehabilitation projects, as well as social businesses and sharing platforms.

What we don’t have (yet) is a strong network that brings all these other networks and groups together, to support the multiple ways we could develop foundations and pathways for a new economy.

AELA is working in partnership with around 100 organisations and individuals, to build a framework for a New Economy Network Australia (NENA).  If you'd like to be part of this movement, please email: neweconomy@earthlaws.org.au
