In July this year, community groups met to discuss a new model of community organising which helps local people assert their rights to a healthy environment and protect the precious ecosystems upon which we depend.

MRREC, SaveMowenForest, WA Forest Alliance and the Australian Earth Laws Alliance invite environmental and community groups and local businesses in the Margaret River region to join us on Sunday 23rd November, to take these initial discussions further.

The workshop will discuss how we can link existing work to protect our natural ecosystems, with a local law making strategy.
